The film based on Balasaheb life will be released featuring the talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui in and as Balasaheb.
Nawazuddin posted the first teaser of the biopic, titled Thackeray, on Twitter. His post read, “It’s an honour and pride to portray the Real King of the Country on Screen.
Purely from an actor’s perspective, the film industry and the theatre world have been excited over Nawazuddin landing this role. Especially because with prosthetics and make-up, Nawazuddin has managed to look the part. And going by his body of work so far, Nawazuddin can be expected to get into the skin of the character.
With Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the role, the makers of the film say that he will do justice to it and meet the challenge of playing one of the most enigmatic politicians of Maharashtra.
